A Friday Finish Finally!

Finally a Friday Finish!  It seem like a long time since written in my Blogs or
Wagon Wheel 8" Block with Machine Appliqué
for my Civil War Sampler Quilt.
had any Friday finishes.  May came and went by so fast and I did seem to accomplish much (see my blog note of May 10th) but here it is the middle of June.  I have not been sewing very much in the past 2 weeks but have been so busy with other stuff.  Yesterday I went to my Civil War Club at my LQS "Sew Little Time - Quilt Shop" Quilt shop in Hudson WI.  It was so nice to be there and be able to concentrate on my Civil War Sampler Quilt - I worked on the 7 sisters block doing some hand embroidery and then decided to do the Wagon Wheel as an applique.  I cut the pieces and then pressed them together to form the wagon wheel using my Teflon sheets and my mini pressing tool.  then I machine appliqued them together.  I needed to add more fabric to the edges but I do like the finished look of my block.  Hope you enjoy it too.
